How it works

Get started

	Sign up for Google Checkout Sign up for a Google Checkout merchant account. You will be asked for basic information about your campaign or PAC including name, website, and contact information.
	Identify yourself as a Political Campaign or Political Action Committee Go to the settings tab in your account and identify your primary product type as "Political Organization." Email a copy of your Statement of Candidacy or your Statement of Organization form along with a cover letter including your Treasurer's name, signature, and Google Checkout merchant ID to political-contributions@google.com or fax a copy to 1-888-231-5873.
	Collect contributions Once you've completed the previous step, you'll notice an option for "Contribute Now Buttons" appear in the left column under the tools tab. Place contribution buttons on your website and start processing contributions with Google Checkout.
