Google Checkout Buyer Help

Google Checkout for mobile allows you to quickly make purchases from your mobile device from participating sellers. If you already use Google Checkout on your computer or have upgraded your account, there's no mobile phone purchasing limit. However, if you've only used Google Checkout from a mobile device, there is a limit of $70 USD per order and roughly $1,400 USD per account.

Upgrading your Google Checkout account means linking your mobile purchase history to a desktop account. If you've only used Google Checkout from a mobile device, you'll need to upgrade your account to remove your mobile phone purchasing limit or purchase physical goods that require a shipping address.

You can choose different payment methods or shipping addresses when making a purchase from your mobile device, as long as you've saved them in your Checkout account first. To add or edit shipping or billing information, sign in to your account from a computer. If you signed up for Google Checkout from a mobile device, you'll need to upgrade your account first before you can add or edit shipping or billing information on your desktop.

If you already use Google Checkout on your computer, or if you're setting up your Google Checkout account for the first time from your mobile device, you'll need to set up your PIN. To create your PIN, enter a series of 4-16 numbers. We'll use your PIN to verify your account from a mobile device. Things to remember when choosing your PIN:

• Enter a number only you know.
• Don't use a number someone else can easily guess.
• Don't use a number that you've used somewhere else.

If your forget your PIN number, click the Forgot PIN? link. Once you've entered your login information, you can create a new PIN.

To complete a purchase, click the Buy button on your mobile device and sign in with your login information.

If you've purchased digital goods, you can access your download by signing in to your account on your mobile device at http://checkout.google.com and reviewing your Order Receipt. If you're having trouble accessing your digital download, please contact the seller directly with your 15-digit Google Order number. The seller's contact information will appear on the Order Receipt page for your purchase.

Receipts are available for all physical and digital purchases from your mobile device. Visit http://checkout.google.com from your mobile device to view your Purchase History. Orders displaying a mobile phone icon were placed with your mobile device.

For your security, your account information will only be stored on our secure servers and will not be stored on your mobile phone. We'll place a cookie on your phone to identify you when you return to make more purchases, but you can remove this cookie from your browser. Remember, if you delete your cookie, you'll be prompted to sign in with your login information each time you make a purchase. Learn more about how Google protects your personal information.

You can access your Google Checkout account from any mobile device that can connect to the Internet. If you use multiple devices to make purchases, or if you purchase a new device, you'll need to sign in first with your login information. Then, enter your existing PIN after you click Buy at a participating seller.

If you lost your mobile phone, your Google Checkout account will not be accessible without your PIN number. If the wrong PIN is entered more than three times, you'll be prompted to sign in to your account with your full login information to create a new PIN.
