Google Checkout Buyer Help

Google Checkout is a free service. You only pay for your purchases, applicable taxes, and delivery fees. There are no additional costs for using Google Checkout.

The seller initiates the charge for your order. Charges appear on your statement as GOOGLE*Seller's name. Charges generally post to your credit/debit card within a few days of your order's placement. To confirm the exact date your card was charged, review the order receipt in your Purchase History.

A temporary $1.00 authorization may appear on your credit/debit card statement after you sign up for an account, add a new card, or update an existing card. This authorization will automatically expire from your statement in a few days. You won't be charged the extra $1.00.

Authorizations are the initial communication between our billing system and the bank's billing system to verify your credit/debit card.

Payment authorizations are often listed as pending on your statement. Authorizations can remain in your account for 1-14 business days, depending on your bank. Contact your bank for specifics.

Authorizations are not actual charges. They will expire automatically.

Sellers determine the cost of the products they sell and any related shipping charges, including the default shipping option within the 'Shipping and Handling' drop-down menu. Make sure to select the shipping and handling method that best suits your needs.

If you believe the item's listed price is incorrect or the available shipping options are inaccurate--perhaps you've seen an advertisement, promotion, or deal--please contact the seller with supporting documentation. Sellers may be able to adjust orders to your satisfaction.

You can make purchases with U.S. sellers offering Google Checkout using any credit, debit, or gift card with the following logos:
